This performance installation features a feminized (and dead) cannabis plant surrounded by drawings of five stages of patriarchal power systems. It is a work in which the artist responds critically to the patriarchal systems that still dominate society. At the same time, this work is also about a real plant, a female cannabis plant, which has now been exhausted and discarded after several years of prolific growth for the cannabis economy. The exhausted plant symbolizes the hurried circle of life we all live in within the capitalist system.
