Bio:
Yazan Maksoud (1988) obtained his Fine Arts Bachelor in 2013 at the University of Damascus. His art practice is primarily focused on sculpture and design. Maksoud believes that art has a major impact on society and can be an impetus for change. Based on this ideology, Maksoud has developed a visual language with which he investigates the integration of multiple senses in mass and form. Fascinated by the phenomenon of patriarchy, and triggered by the resulting effect on our society, it is his mission to question stereotypical images of women, with the aim of a harmonious society.
